This review is not about my prescriber, because I think very highly of her. She has been responsive, considerate, and genuinely helpful. My issue is with MEDvidi itself and the role it plays between patient and clinician. I reached out through the patient portal twice because I needed direction about my prescription, including whether I should keep taking it and how to taper if I stopped. I’ve since found out that my prescriber replied on October 2, but that message was never passed along to me. That’s not a small service problem. This was about medication and what I should do with it, and I was left thinking I was still waiting for medical guidance when the guidance had already been given. For a telehealth service, the whole point is being able to reliably connect patients with their providers, and MEDvidi didn’t manage that here. My prescriber did everything right, and I did my part by asking for appropriate help. The breakdown was in the system that was supposed to deliver her response. That feels especially serious for a company handling mental health and medication management. Patients shouldn’t have to keep checking back just to find out whether their clinician answered a question about a prescription. I would still be comfortable continuing with my prescriber, but I have much less confidence in MEDvidi’s ability to support that relationship safely and reliably.
